Pilar Winter Hill is a 20-year-old Juilliard-trained classical violinist, cinematic creator, and emerging filmmaker from Brooklyn, New York. With over 650,000 followers across Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok, she is recognized for her refined artistry, quiet luxury aesthetic, and emotionally resonant performance videos, which have collectively earned more than 130 million views.

Accepted into the prestigious Juilliard Pre-College at age nine, Pilar was named one of Teen Vogue’s 21 Under 21: Young People Changing the World, celebrating her early achievements as both a musician and creative voice. At thirteen, she made international history as the first Black American major prizewinner of the Andrea Postacchini International Violin Competition in Italy, placing 2nd out of 47 global competitors—an accomplishment featured on The Violin Channel.

Also of Filipino, and Lithuanian heritage, Pilar has earned top prizes in leading U.S. competitions, including First Class Honors with Distinction from the Carnegie Hall Royal Conservatory Program. She has performed at renowned venues such as Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, Madison Square Garden, BAM Fisher, Teatro dell’Aquila (Italy), and the Jiangyin Zilan Theatre (China), as well as celebrated cultural destinations across Paris, London, Madrid, Edinburgh, and Beijing.

Pilar is also a published children’s author. Her debut book, A Neighborhood Walk, A Musical Journey, received a Starred Review from the School Library Journal and recognition from Kirkus Reviews. She has been a guest speaker and performer at the American Library Association Annual Conference, featured in a multi-page Strings Magazine interview, and appeared on national television on The Kelly Clarkson Show. She also performed for Prada FW 2021 during Milan Fashion Week.

Her work across music, fashion, storytelling, and social media has led to collaborations with leading global brands, including PRADA, Swarovski, Louis Vuitton, Armani Beauty, The Walt Disney Company, Universal, Laika Studios, META, Warby Parker, The Ritz-Carlton, COMO Hotels, Virgin Hotels, and Condé Nast, among others.

Now studying Film & Media at FIT in New York City, Pilar is expanding her artistic voice into filmmaking, creative direction, and visual storytelling. She is developing her career as a video producer, digital strategist, and full-stack creative, merging her passions for music, fashion, beauty, travel, and cinematic media.
